The works Mound - Memorial Mound refer to the construction of mounds and monuments, usually in localities that are also a burial place. Monuments thus become a place of physical presentation of memory, which is part of the formation of historical narratives and identity, which was and still is often used by the ruling political power. Some events were highlighted above others and were given societal significance.
