Paradise

The video was shot during my art symposium in Tenerife, Canary Islands. It captures an image of an exotic garden reflected on the blue surface of the pool. It is a Fata Morgana of the paradise intertwined with the Fata Morgana of an ideal holiday. The innocent shot contains a hidden remorse for the consequences of mass tourism - the islands lack water, which is drained into numerous swimming pools in tourist resorts and private villas.
